After more than 20 years of service, HANS has achieved its founding mission. Childhood autism screening is now a standard part of pediatric care, and awareness has grown immeasurably since we began in 2002.

HANS is no longer accepting donations. However, due to popular demand, we are keeping all of our educational materials freely available online for physicians, parents, educators and families worldwide.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported HANS over the years: the donors, translators, physicians, educators and families who made this work possible.

In Memory of Paul Lee, MD

HANS was co-founded by Paul Lee, a physician and father of a child with autism, who passed away in 2010. Paul's vision of creating illustrated tools that any physician could use to recognize autism early has reached tens of thousands of physicians and families across more than 17 countries.
